DOHA: Commercial Bank yesterday announced that customers who applied for and used their Manchester United Credit Cards were selected to receive a priceless Manchester United experience — a place for their child to attend the special Manchester United-run soccer camp being held here for the first time this week, said a press statement yesterday.
Children aged seven to 16 are set to take part in the soccer camp with Manchester United Soccer Schools coaches being flown in from the United Kingdom to provide the training.
The kids will undergo a mixture of technical, physical and mental challenges at the soccer school. The aspiring young footballers will learn techniques related to Manchester United first team players and how to train their bodies for the demands of the game in different player positions. Mental training involves understanding tactics, developing a winning mentality and how to behave off the pitch, such as adopting a healthy lifestyle and diet.
Abdulla Saleh Al Raisi, Commercial Bank CEO, said: “Customers with Commercial Bank Manchester United Credit Cards not only benefit from our generous rewards programme but fans can also win a once in a lifetime experience for their child at a Manchester United Soccer School. It’s the first time this unique experience has been in Doha, and we are delighted our customers and their children can benefit.”
Commercial Bank has a five-year exclusive partnership with Manchester United and offers a range of Manchester United financial products, including a Current or Savings Account with a Debit Card and two types of Manchester United Credit Card.
