Doha: Under the patronage of the Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah, the Chief of Staff Major-General Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim yesterday inaugurated the first forum for military colleges and universities at Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College.
Top officers of the armed forces and guests from inside and outside Qatar attended the opening ceremony.
The Commander of the college, Brigadier Hamad Ahmed Ali Al Nuaimi, said in a speech that the forum reflected the college’s commitment to excellence. He described the forum as an unprecedented event in the region, adding that its purpose is to examine international and Arab developments in military training which can help make proposals to improve academic and military education in military colleges and universities.
