Doha: Avaya, a leading provider of solutions that enable customer and team engagement across multiple channels and devices, yesterday opened a new office in Doha. The office is located in the Doha Tower on the Doha Corniche.
With a larger in-country team coupled with a strategy to expand the company’s ecosystem of partners, Avaya’s investment in Qatar demonstrates the company’s commitment to the region and its businesses.  The company plans to help local channel partners expand both technical and specific industry sector skills to deliver the networking infrastructure, engagement solutions and services needed for a sustainable and dynamic business environment in today’s world. A stronger local presence also enables the company to quickly mobilise the technical support services needed for rapid response to critical customer needs.
Avaya has already been serving Qatar-based customers from the telecom, hospitality, construction, oil and gas industries and government organizations for more than a decade, working through a number of leading system integrators. The company’s contact center, unified communication and mid-market communication technologies are deployed by leading enterprises in the country.
Avaya and its partners are currently engaged in a number of digital transformation projects, building mobile-enabled engagement environments across many key services-based sectors.
