Srinagar--With separatists and mainstream leaders opposing the separate composite colonies for the Kashmiri migrant Pandits in the Valley, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah said that no right minded Kashmiri will oppose their return to Valley, but also no right minded Kashmiri will support ghettoisation of Kashmiri Pandits.

“No right minded Kashmiri will support the ghettoisation of Kashmiri Pandits, housed in segregated inherently unsafe camps in the Valley,’’ Omar wrote on the twitter.

Omar Abdullah, however, said that he will try to support the return of Pandits to their homeland. “I will do everything possible to support the return of Pandits to the Valley in keeping with our composite culture & Kashmiriyat.”

Separatists have already called for protests and strike on Saturday against the creation of “composite townships” for Kashmiri migrant Pandits in the Valley.

The separatists have termed this as a ploy of RSS to divide people of the state on religious lines and have blamed Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayed for fulfilling the agenda of RSS.
