Doha: A huge turnout of members, alumni, friends and families was seen at an Iftar programme organised by Integral University Alumni Association Qatar Chapter (IUAAQ) on April 5.
Integral University, Lucknow is a renowned university in India and its Alumni Association in Qatar is known for its contributions in the fields of sports, education and philanthropy.
The association has not only developed a strong networking of IU fraternity but has also collaborated with several other alumni associations and government bodies whilst working for common causes.
Majid Ali, President, IUAAQ and Abdul Mohmin Alvi, Vice President, have played an instrumental role in the success of IUAAQ since its inception in 2019. This was voiced by Jawed Ahmad (AMUAAQ), Dr. Nadeem Jeelani, (AMUAAQ) and Asif Khan (AMUAAQ) spoke very highly of IUAAQ and encouraged the team to keep up the good work.
Expressing gratitude Lutfi Kaker, owner of Sheen Services, appreciated the overall conduct of the Iftar event and the hard work done by Zuhaib (Media Relations), Nayeem (Educational Coordinator) Shafiq (Social Media Handling), Irfan (Event coordinator), Sajid (Treasurer) and Asfan.
Other notable guest were Shadab and Najmul from Jamia Millia University Alumni Association Qatar, Sarwar Mirza from radio FM 107, and Azeem from Indian Friend Circle.
The delightful Iftar event started with breaking of fast followed by Maghrib prayer and sumptuous dinner.
Senior Alumni of Integral University Ali Azeem, Benjamin Siddiqui and Qaem Menhdi thanked the invitees for their presence and congratulated office bearers of IUAAQ on the success of the event.
