Carrol Bethany Selvaraj
Doha: A Class IV student of MES Indian School, Carrol Bethany Selvaraj secured a bagful of trophies and titles in the 2RSA GCC Open Badminton Tournament held in Bahrain recently.
Carrol won the Under 9 and Under 11 doubles categories titles and finished as runner-up in the Under 9 and Under 11 singles.
A Qatar-born child, Carrol has been practising badminton ever since she was four years old. She participated in a number of badminton tournaments nationally and internationally and won medals and trophies.
With this win, Carrol has advanced to participate in Kerala State Sub Junior Meet-2023.
Dr. Hameeda Kadar, the school Principal felicitated Carrol for her commendable achievements.
