Doha: In marking of the holy month of Ramadan, Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) held its annual staff Iftar at Al-Dafna ballroom at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.
The company’s annual Iftar was attended by H E Dr. Abdulla bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, Managing Director & CEO of Qatar Rail, executive management & staff.
The annual iftar event is one of Qatar Rail’s staff welfare initiatives aimed at strengthening staff social engagement during the holy month.
This event is an annual tradition that reflects Qatar Rail’s continuous commitment to appreciating and recognizing its staff and sharing with them the joy and blessing of the holy month.
During the annual staff iftar event, a video was displayed documenting the Qatar Rail’s key operational achievements, most prominent the company’s success in providing a safe and reliable travel experience for the fans attended the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. In addition, during the Ramadan iftar event a raffle draw for valuable prizes took place.
Qatar Rail is committed to hosting this annual event during the holy month of Ramadan with the aim of strengthening the relationships between employees outside the work environment, in addition to emphasizing the company’s appreciation for the staff efforts in delivering the company’s strategic visions, and supporting the ambitious journey of Qatar Rail.
