Qatar Exchange down 0.12pc

DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 10.41 points or 0.12 percent to 8,847.88 points from the previous closing of 8,858.29 points.

The volume of shares traded fell to 7,894,835 from 12,155,718 Wednesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR268,779,301.11 from QR567,160,025.08 Wednesday.

Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.69 percent to QR143.00, Qatar Insurance lost 0.85 percent to QR58.20, Barwa Real Estate fell 0.71 percent to QR23.63 and Islamic Insurance down 0.75 percent to QR52.60.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 0.22 points while the Insurance sector down 0.56 points.

The Qatar industrial sector dropped 0.29 points and the Services sector added 0.13 points. (QNA)
