Audio Education Complex marks Arab Deaf Week

Doha: The activities of the Arab Deaf Week kicked off on Sunday at the Audio Education Complex (boys and girls)) of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Organized within the annual celebration of the 48th session of Arab Deaf Week, the event is held this year under the theme of “The Importance of Modern Technology in Educating the Death and Improving their Culture”, in the presence of affiliates of the complex, schools, guardians and media.

Addressing the attendees, Director of the Special Education and Gifted Care Department at MoEHE Fatima Al Saadi underscored that the State of Qatar and its wise leadership are committed to supporting and caring for all persons with disabilities, in addition to providing all means of comfort, health, psychological, social and educational care to them based on the best systems and strategies, as per international standards and specifications.   

The celebrations of the Arab Deaf Week will feature a wide range of events at the Audio Education Complex (girls), including workshops on internet risks, along with an electronic and cultural contest for affiliates, hearing impairment and hearing aids.
