Doha: The Ministry of Labour, in cooperation with the Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) launched a set of occupational safety and health stamps regarding heat stress.
The commemorative stamps were presented under the title, "Safety and Health at Workplace: A Basic Right and a Shared Responsibility".
The Ministry of Labour, on its social media, stated that the stamps aim "to highlight the efficiency of laws aimed at mitigating the impact of heat stress while also enforcing the highest safety regulations for constructing facilities and public infrastructure."
The launch is part of the International Conference on Occupational Heat Stress, which kicked off today in Doha and will run until tomorrow, May 10, 2023.
The stamps were launched by the Ministry of Labour, the Public Works Authority, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, and the International Labour Organization.
