Curtain falls on Julia Domna tonight

DOHA: The curtain will fall today on dance drama Julia Domna that was performed at Katara Drama Theatre from Thursday.

The show is presented by Enana Dance Theatre and it is a mix of drama, dance and expression based on the life of an Arab princess, Julia Domna.

“Katara is keen to host a diversified cultural activates to cater a large number of audiences who had different tests because they belonged to different cultural backgrounds,” said General Manger of Katara, Dr Khalid Al Sulayti who attended the show yesterday.

“The artists of Julia Domna are highly professionals and they had presented this show in several international and Arab festivals so we decided to host this show,” he added.

“We do not hesitate to host cultural events because it had positive impacts on the society”, said Al Sulayti.

Katara will remain committed by hosting the programs arts and cultures in a bid to make Qatar city of culture and arts, he added. The Peninsula
