DOHA: A total of 100 scholarships are offered for children of Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to pursue under graduate courses in several disciplines in India.
Scholarships are made available by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs under the Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children.
The programme is open to PIOs/NRIs from 40 countries, having a larger concentration of Indian diaspora that includes Qatar.
Scholarships are offered for engineering, architecture, technology, humanities, liberal arts, commerce, management – BBA/BBM, journalism, hotel management, agriculture, animal husbandry, science and law among others.
