Doha: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) revealed that it settled more than 3,000 cheques worth QR80 million within the first day of extending the work of the Electronic Check Conversion (ECC).
Earlier in July, QCB announced the extension of the ECC system, directing all banks to implement the cheques conversion service throughout the week, including weekends and during all official holidays.
