Doha: The Godolphin-owned horse Toscanini imposed himself in the Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club Phoenix Sprint (Gr3) on Sunday at the Curragh, Ireland.
The horse showed real improvement since his last race. Within the race, there were a few interesting names like Air Force Blue.
Lord of The Land came down the home straight attacking the future winner. The pair dueled at the two-furlong pole, but it was Toscanini who finally showed his best in front of Eastern Impact, who came second, and Lord of The Land, who was third. Whereas Air Force Blue was under pressure and disappointed, finishing last.
“He always had ability but only now has he fully grown up”, said winning trainer, Michael Halford,.
Abdulla Rashid Al Kuabais, QREC Racing Manager, was present and presented the trophies to the winners. The Peninsula
