Qatar's Tosin Ogunode in action during the men's 100 metres heats at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkiye, yesterday. The Qatari sprinter clocked a Games record of 9.98 seconds to win the heat with ease and advance to the semi-finals. The semis will take place at the Konya Metropolitan Stadium, at 5.30pm today. 

Team Qatar athletes also excelled with Bassem Al Hamida (400m hurdles), Abu Bakr Abdullah (800m) and Abdul Rahman Hassan (800m) in their respective events.
