RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Presidency called on the international community today to break its silence and stand firmly against the policy of the Israeli entity in its violations against the Palestinian people, and its violations of international and humanitarian laws.

Spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency Nabil Abu Rudeineh said in a statement that the occupation government is not interested in achieving calm and stability, working instead on shedding more Palestinian blood and exploit it to achieve gains in Israeli internal politics.

The spokesperson condemned the assassinations carried out by the Israeli forces earlier today in the city of Nablus, resulting in the death of three Palestinians and wounding dozens of others.

Abu Rudeineh warned that the continued Israeli aggression will ignite the region and cause destruction which dangerous consequences can be borne by no one, calling on the US to hold the Israeli entity responsible for the bloody escalation, which claimed dozens of Palestinian lives.

Moreover, three Palestinians were martyred, and 40 others were wounded, including four in critical condition, after the occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank earlier.

These assassinations come after another Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip, which lasted for three days, and resulted in 46 martyrs and the injury of more than 300 Palestinians, before reaching a truce that entered into force yesterday evening.
