BUENOS AIRES: The Governor of Argentina's Mendoza Province, Francisco Perez, met here on Wednesday with HE Qatar's Ambassador in Buenos Aires, Fahad bin Ibrahim Al-Hamad Al-Mana, on the occasion of assuming his duties as ambassador of the State of Qatar to Argentina.
Governor Peres wished HE Ambassador Al-Mana success in his missions and further development and prosperity to relations between the two countries.
Talks during the meeting also dealt with bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in the various fields.
HE Qatar ambassador meets Senior U.N. officials
VIENNA: HE Qatar's Ambassador Austria Mohamed Ali Al-Malki met here on Wednesday separately with Yury Fedotov, the executive director of the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC), and Li Yong, the director general of the U.N. Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
During the two meetings, they reviewed relations between Qatar and the U.N. organizations and means of bolstering and developing them. (QNA)
