Doha: Students of DPS-Modern Indian School have participated in ‘Made in Qatar’ activity which enhances Qatar national identity.

The initiative ‘Made in Qatar’ was launched by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Malls and retail markets in Qatar, prominently display a large variety of locally produced goods and food products with the label ‘National Product’. This initiative aims to support and market locally produced goods across Qatar.

The students of Grade II participated in an interesting ‘Collage Making’ activity. They were made aware of different types of food products like dairy, poultry, bakery, water and vegetables which are locally produced. Student made a collage on an outline of the Qatar map by pasting the logos of different food products, produced by local companies.

Teachers displayed various products made in Qatar and the students also showed the national products used in their households during their online class. The objective of the activity was to appreciate and take pride in the success and development achieved by the Qatar Government.
