DOHA: The Qatar Football Association and Nike unveiled the new home and away national team’s football kits for 2014 that celebrate the country’s identity and deliver performance-enhancing innovations and sustainable design.
The Qatar National Football Team will debut their new away kit on November 13 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in Gulf Cup.
The team’s home jersey features a classic football design and comes in the national’s distinctive maroon colour with contrasting white cuffs.
The federation crest is proudly positioned on the right side of the jersey, balanced with a Swoosh on the left side. Colored stripes on the shorts and socks correspond with the jersey’s cuffs create a complete and stylish look.
The away kit has a reverse design and is predominantly white with contrasting maroon details on it. Football played in the upcoming regional tournament in Riyadh could see temperatures around 27 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit).
