Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan H E Yoshimasa Hayashi meeting with Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi in Tokyo, Japan.
Tokyo: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan H E Yoshimasa Hayashi met yesterday with Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, who is visiting Japan.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, in addition to discussing a number of international and regional issues of common interest.
Assistant Foreign Minister and Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Nagaoka Kansuke and Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan H E Hassan bin Mohammed Rafi Al Emadi attended the meeting. Al Khulaifi also met with Assistant Foreign Minister and Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Nagaoka Kansuke.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them. Also, they discussed several regional and international issues of common interest, especially the Palestinian issue and the Middle East peace process. The Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs pointed to the depth of relations between the two countries as they seek for new horizons of cooperation in light of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between them.
