Doha: Ideal Indian School conducted a ‘countdown gala’ in support of the one-year countdown to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
In a spectacular ceremony held recently, Director and Principal of IIS Syed Shoukath Ali inaugurated a countdown board. Balloons were released marking the FIFA World Cup countdown.
An exciting football match for boys and penalty shoot-out for girls were held on the occasion. Participants and the winners of both the events received medals and the winning team was awarded with trophy. Syed Shoukath Ali addressed gathering stressing the importance of team work and encouraged the students to take part in sports.
