Doha: Tulukoota Qatar, affiliated to ICC under Indian Embassy, has organised a mixed volleyball and ladies throwball tournament successfully. A great exciting show was put up by the talented teams that thrilled and excited the audience with nail biting moments.
It was an intense, exciting two-day tournament which had multiple nationalities and players from different states of India.
Tulukoota Qatar won both the Winner and Runner up Trophy in throwball. In mixed volley, Tulukoota team showed their might in Nadu lifted the championship trophy and team VoliQ were the runner’s up.
In throwball championship the individuals who bagged the special titles are - Kavitha Mahendran- Safe Hands -from Start sports Throwball rockers, Best Smasher – Muriel Merlyn from Tulukoota Qatar, Star player of the tournament - Indira Ravi Kunder from Tulukoota Qatar. In the volleyball championship, Best Passer - Ajith from Team Tamilnadu, Best Smasher - Mohammed from VOLIQ, Star player of the tournament - Men - Hakeem from Team Tamilnadu, Star player of the tournament - Ladies - Emma from Top Notch.
A sub-edition of the Souvenir Nirel which captured glimpses of all events by TKQ during this term 2019-2021 was released. Chief guest, Reem Al Khatar, a sports Enthusiast, the first lady Qatari horse rider, a lady with a long list of success stories added the required meaningful glamour to the event.
