Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani on Monday received a telephone call from HE Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres.
Discussion during the call dealt with the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. They also discussed the developments in Syrian in addition to a host of topics of mutual interest.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar's full support for all regional and international efforts aimed at reducing escalation and achieving security, peace and stability in the region.
