Three top educationists to speak at Going Global

DOHA: Three of Qatar’s top education professionals have been confirmed as speakers at Going Global 2013, which is set to bring together the world’s education leaders and academics. 

The conference will offer a platform for policy makers and practitioners from around the world to discuss issues facing the international education community. This year’s conference will feature a substantial Qatari presence.

Dr Mohammad Fathy Saoud, President of Qatar Foundation, will be delivering the opening plenary address. He will also be providing his thoughts on the co-creation of knowledge in ‘My knowledge, your knowledge – our knowledge?’ 

Dr Ibrahim Al Naimi of the Supreme Education Council will explore Mena-specific issues in a discussion on supporting knowledge workers in the region. 

Dr Todd Kent, Assistant Dean at University of Qatar, will give his views in ‘Branch Campuses – what is the real impact on students?’
