Boatmen clear snow off their houseboat in Srinagar yesterday. Kashmir is in the grip of a cold wave with the skiing destination of Gulmarg and the cold desert region of Ladakh witnessing sub-zero temperatures while National Highway 1A, the only road link connecting Kashmir to rest of the world, remained closed for vehicular traffic.
