Doha: Paris Saint Germain’s (PSG) and Qatar Tourism Authority will celebrate Qatar National Sport Day with fans attending the PSG vs Caen match in Paris on February 14.
Supporters will be able to celebrate sports themselves while also learning about the importance Qatar places in sports as a vehicle towards a healthier and more dynamic society.
Match day celebrations of Qatar National Sport Day at Parc des Princes will feature:
Dribble with PSG stars: Young supporters’ agility will be tested in a dedicated
football dribbling area. Each young fan will receive a video of his/her performance, featuring PSG players amidst Qatar’s iconic landscapes.
Citroën Golden Bar: QTA and French automotive brand Citroën will reward one lucky supporter who manages to hit the goal crossbar from 20 metre away during half-time. The lucky winner will be entitled to an all-expenses paid trip for two to Qatar.
Supporters on the pitch: QTA has a year-round programme of activities for PSG supporters with the most popular being the VIP seat upgrades on each championship match day at Parc des Princes. For this match in particular, four lucky winning supporters will also attend the warm-up on the pitch!
Hospitality with a Qatari flavour: The stadium’s hospitality areas will take on a Qatari atmosphere with guests being able to interact with a falcon, calligrapher, and even participate in quiz competitions leading to prizes like trips for two to Qatar.
