Doha: Chairperson of the Qatar Museums Authority Board of Trustees H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani toured the Sports Village yesterday. Established by Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) in cooperation with sports federations, the village will host today sports events and activities held on the occasion of Qatar Sports Day.
Accompanied by QOC Secretary-General H E Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and a number of officials, Sheikha Al Mayassa inspected different wings of the sports village, where she was briefed on the preparations taking place in sports village to receive the public in the morning. She praised the diversity of sporting events that will be held in the village.QNA
