Doha Toastmasters Club recently celebrated International Womens’ day in grand style, on the theme #EachforEqual, the campaign slogan for IWD 2020.
Smitha Abraham presented a memorable event ensuring the ambience and the settings matching the theme.
Prepared speeches were delivered by Muna, Madhuri, Namrata and Niloufer Samel, evaluated by Sunil kumar Menon, Rajeswar Sundaresan, Subair Pandavath and Manzoor Moideen.
A fun filled thematic Table Topics session was conducted by Freeda Lobo and Rangamani Ravi was the General Evaluator. Muna was the Best Speaker, Maggy the Best Table Topics Speaker and Manzoor, the Best Evaluator. International Leadership Committee member Sony Varghese spoke on the occasion on how we could make a positive impact on other peoples’ lives and lead them to success.
Earlier the meeting was opened by Club President Jayakumar Menon and along with the excom welcomed the ladies with roses.
A Quiz on the contributions and achievements of women globally, was one of the highlights of the color studded meeting. Akash, Sithmini and Atul collaborated in the arrangements.
