DOHA: The Permanent Committee for Emergency (PCE) conducted training yesterday for an emergency mock drill to be conducted today at Mashaf area in Wakra.
The secretary of PCE Brig Hamad Al Duhaimi said that the training was done in the presence of Staff Maj Gen Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, chairman of PCE and other members of the committee. The detailed plan of mock drill was discussed in the training session and each authority has been assigned with certain roles.
The field drill will be carried out today to measure the preparedness of all participating authorities in emergency plan.
Brig Al Duhaimi urged all citizens and expatriates at Mashar in Wakra and nearby areas to cooperate with the authorities for smooth exercise of emergency drill.
