London: The British Foreign Office called today for an end to the ongoing violence between the Palestinians and the Israeli occupation forces in occupied Jerusalem.

"The UK appeals for calm, and calls for an end to the violence witnessed in Jerusalem over recent days. All sides need to de-escalate tensions in the final days of Ramadan," the UK Minister for Middle East and North Africa at the Foreign Office James Cleverly said.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society said earlier today that 305 Palestinian civilians were injured, during the occupation forces' storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
