Doha: Karnataka Sangha Qatar, an associated organization of Indian Cultural Centre under the aegis of the Embassy of India, Doha Qatar, felicitated Minister of State for External Affairs & Parliamentary Affairs of India V Muraleedharan at Ashoka Hall, Indian cultural center on May 8, 2022, during a community reception organized by Indian Culture Center.
Karnataka Sangha President Mahesh Gowda along with Advisory committee members V S Mannagangi, Deepak Shetty, KSQ management committee members and Vice President of Indian Cultural Center Subramanaya Hebbagelu were present during the ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, the minister hailed the contributions of the Indian community in developing diplomatic relationship between India and Qatar and expressed full support from the Indian government in this direction.
Minister had an interactive meeting with community leaders and during this meeting, Karnataka Sangha President appealed to the minister to request the Qatar government to open a Qatar Visa Center in Bengaluru, which will help complete all the Qatar resident visa formalities in the state itself, as currently people from Karnataka need to travel to other metro cities of India.
