UPDATE 6:45 PM:
Qatar Airways announced that flight QR960 headed from Doha to Denpasar has landed safely in Bangkok. Upon landing, the aircraft was met with a medical team that provided assistance to affected individuals.
All passengers will be provided meals and accomodation by Qatar Airways in Bangkok and the flight to Denpasar will resume tomorrow, May 11.
Doha: Qatar Airways issued a statement regarding its QR960 flight from Doha to Denpasar, Indonesia.
The airline, on social media, stated that flight QR960 from Doha to Denpasar "experienced severe turbulence en route which has resulted in injuries sustained by some individuals on board."
It further stated that the plane, Boeing 777-300 ER, diverted to Bangkok and landed safely to provide necessary medical attention to the affected passengers and crew.

"The safety and security of our passengers and crew remains our top priority," said Qatar Airways.
