Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) announced the launch of the 18th National Scientific Research and Innovation Exhibition 2026, in partnership with the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council. The exhibition is scheduled to take place from May 12-14 at the Qatar National Convention Centre, under the theme "Promising Researchers for Qatar.”

In a statement, the Ministry explained that this year's exhibition will witness the participation of more than 2,900 students from 249 public and private schools, along with more than 650 teachers, showcasing over 2,000 research and innovation projects across diverse scientific fields.

The Ministry noted that the exhibition's activities will include presentations of participating projects to judging panels, specialized training workshops, the Academic FameLab competition, and an awards ceremony honoring the winners of various competitions.

The exhibition serves as a national platform to support a culture of scientific research and innovation among students, showcasing their scientific projects and ideas, contributing to the development of critical thinking, analysis, and discovery skills, while enhancing students’ abilities to apply knowledge in addressing real-world challenges and proposing innovative solutions.

The exhibition is organized as part of MOEHE's efforts to foster a culture of research and innovation within the educational environment, preparing a generation capable of competing and producing knowledge, in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 to build a knowledge-based economy and develop human capital.
