Doha: V Care, an organisation that functions as a social forum to serve the Indian community in Qatar, will formally launch operations on June 12 at Indian Cultural Centre, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Health.
Shamsudheen Olakra, Chairman, Advisory Board, V Care, Musthafa Kalliyath, President, and Muhammed Shafi, General Secretary, attended a press conference at Quality Hypermarket to announce the launch.
V Care aims to support needy patients, particularly cancer patients at Hamad General Hospital and medical centres, financially, mentally and by other possible means. Officials expressed gratitude for the support in bringing V Care to life.
V Care also aims to motivate and encourage patients to return to normal life, conduct medical camps for the early detection of diseases and suggest remedial measures to prevent diseases early.
