Doha, Qatar: Minister of Interior and Commander of Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a written message to Minister of Interior of the Arab Republic of Egypt H E Major General Mahmoud Tawfik, pertaining to aspects of bilateral security cooperation and exchange of expertise between the interior ministries of the two countries.
Director of Public Security H E Maj. Gen. Abdullah Mohammed Al Suwaidi handed the message during a meeting with Egypt’s Minister of Interior in Cairo.
Meanwhile, the State of Qatar participated in the second meeting of senior Arab officials on the establishment of Arab infrastructure to prepare for a nuclear emergency, which was held in Cairo on June 7 and 8, and discussed the exchange of views on building emergency preparedness and response capabilities in the Arab region. Maj. Gen. Abdullah Mohammed Al Suwaidi headed Qatar’s delegation to the meeting.
