Lulu most customer-friendly hypermarket

DOHA: Lulu Hyper market, has emerged as the most customer-friendly hypermarket in Qatar followed by Carrefour in a recent Opinion Survey conducted by The Peninsula daily.

The survey asked respondents to rate popular hypermarkets operating in the country based on 10 different parameters. 

Some of the parameters include: location and parking facilities, layout and ambience, product display and arrangement, clarity of display (pricing & expiry dates), products’ quality, complaint handling and others. 

Popular hypermarkets brands such as Safari and Family Food Centre (FFC) were also rated high on most of the parameters, according to the Survey. 

Other brands that also featured in the Survey were Al Meera, Quality and Shoprite.

Each parameter was evaluated on a scale of 1-5, with one being the lowest (poor) and five rated as the highest (excellent) with maximum score.

Hypermarkets that scored two, three or four points for a parameter were rated as average, fair and good, respectively. 

In terms of product display and arrangement (the aesthetic appeal), Lulu received excellent ratings followed by Carrefour and FFC.  

The Peninsula
