DOHA: Qatar First Bank (QFB) has announced to launch the annual ‘Ramadan Blessings Campaign’ for the fifth year in a row. The campaign will include several community-based activities aimed at promoting solidarity and brotherhood during the holy month, a press statement said yesterday.
QFB will encourage its employees to actively participate in the campaign’s various activities which include corporate Iftars for partners and employees, a visit to the children of the Qatar Autism and Special Needs Centre, an Iftar for the Elderly and a Garangaouh celebration for the children of Qatar Orphan Foundation. This year QFB will place a donation box on its premises to encourage its employees and other tenants at the QFB building to contribute in kind donations which will be given to Qatar-based charities for distribution to families who are in need.
Emad Mansour, CEO of QFB, said: “This is the fifth consecutive year for our Ramadan Blessings Campaign. As a Shairah-compliant institution, QFB is committed to engaging the local community and contributing to its welfare, especially during the holy month, where it is the custom to reach out to the less fortunate.”The Peninsula
