Doha: Starwood Hotels & Resorts celebrated Iftar with taxi drivers across Qatar as part of its ongoing commitment to Ramadan.
For the sixth year running, Starwood’s ‘Iftar for Cabs’ campaign brought more than 40 of its hotels, including Sheraton Doha, across the region together for a worthy cause. During the hour of Iftar, packs containing food and beverages were distributed to cab drivers and Starwood’s partner-drivers at the main entrance of each hotel.
Catering teams at each hotel prepared Iftar packs which included food and beverage. Associates from various departments within the hotels, including catering, administration and guest services joined forces to bring the initiative to life. ‘Iftar for Cabs’ has been running since 2010 and has become an annual tradition for many cab drivers in the region.The Peninsula
