QSE index drops 18.56 points

Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) benchmark index dropped 18.56 points, or 0.21 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 8,904.16 points, yesterday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 5.14 million from 8.08 million on Thursday and the value of shares decreased QR115.62m from QR186.19m on Thursday.
Out of the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 36 saw trading yesterday. Of these 20 gained and 15 companies closed lower, and one remained unchanged yesterday.
Indices of three sectors ended in green and remained four sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index lost 0.21 to 14,931.76 points, reports QNA.
