Qatar Olympic team to play Bangladesh friendly

Doha: The coaching staff of the national Olympic team will hold a friendly match against Bangladesh on Thursday, ahead of their participation in the Asia Cup U-23 qualifiers that will take place in Doha from July 15 to July 23.

The final of Asia Cup will take place in China in January 2018. The Qatari team resumed their training on Sunday night under the leadership of coach Felix Sanchez, who will be looking to put the finishing touches on his first 11.
Thursday's match will be the final for the Qatari team before facing Turkmenistan on July 19 in the qualifiers. They will then face India and Syria on July 21 and 23 respectively.
The Qatari Olympic team held a friendly tournament lately with Uzbekistan and Kirgizstan. The coaching staff is keen on getting their players into shape to reach the Asia Cup in China next year.
