Doha: The new football season is about to start for Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence when the outstanding Qatari institution officially welcomes four high-profile Under-17 teams for another high profile Tournament.
This time the Qatar youth national team, age group 1997, will take on the youth national teams of Oman and Kuwait as well as Real Madrid Juvenil B at Aspire Zone.
The six matches will take place on August 12, 14 and 17. Each game will be played in two halves of 40 minutes each.
“We are always delighted to see our boys representing Qatar und this tournament is another chance for them to gain international experience and to compete against strong sides and get to know different styles of play. I am sure that these games will be another useful learning experience for them,” Roberto Olabe, Football Director of Aspire Academy said.
The Peninsula
