DOHA: Influential winger Hamid Ismail has reportedly signed a four-year deal with Qatar Stars League (QSL) giants Al Rayyan.
The 27-year-old was seen posing with club chairman Sheikh Saud bin Khalid Al Thani, Al Kass showed on Sunday.
Al Rayyan, after spending a year in the second division, won QSL promotion at the end of the 2014-15 season that concluded last April.
The news was first flashed on social media Twitter on Sunday.
Ismail joined Al Rayyan in the 2009 winter transfer window. He has been used mostly as a utility player, usually playing as a right-back but has also started some matches as a winger, midfielder and striker. In 2011, he renewed his contract with Al Rayyan for three years despite interest from El Jaish SC.
