DOHA: To create awareness about physiotherapy Al Ahli hospital held several events recently and marked International Physiotherapy Day.
The physiotherapists welcomed the guests, answered their questions and provided them with many brochures related to the most commonly treated conditions.
Also many consultants and physiotherapists from Al Ahli Hospital gave highly informative presentations. The attendees were doctors and physiotherapists from many hospitals and healthcare providers from all over Qatar.
Physical and rehabilitation medicine in large and physiotherapy in particular are pillars in the holistic medical services. They play a leading role in prevention and management of all bone muscles and nerves related conditions. Their main is to treat pain and disability and help people return to active and productive life.
The event was held in the presence of Dr Abdul Azim Hussain the medical director, Jamal Hammad the Deputy CEO and Dr Ahmad Al Khayer the head of the Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine department with many consultant physicians and physiotherapists.
