The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud yesterday met Mohamed Ibn Chambas, Head, African Union-United Nations Mission and its Joint Special Representative in Darfur, and his delegation. They discussed progress in implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur, especially in the field of security arrangements. Al Mahmoud also met Thabo Mbeki, Chairman, African Union High-Level Implementation Panel on Sudan, and his delegation in the presence of Chambas.
