DOHA: Ezdan Holding Group has won Arabian Business Group’s coveted “The Property Company of the Year 2015” award. Ezdan was honoured in recognition of the Group’s achievements and excellence in the vital property market sector.
The award was conferred on the Group on Tuesday. A total of 12 awards were conferred on various entities at the event in recognition of their excellence in different businesses in sectors including telecommunications, retails, banking, among others.
Commenting on Ezdan winning the award, the Arabian Business magazine said:” Ezdan Holding Group was able to bag the award because of its professionalism and expertise in the real estate sector and the substantial achievements it has achieved over the past year which were evidently reflected on the Group’s financial results”.
Ezdan Holding Group CEO Ali Al Obaidli said: “This award is a reflection of the Group’s successful journey over the years, not only in the real estate sector, but in various other portfolios into which the Group has been pumping capital… We consider this achievement as the success of the Group’s strategy and vision and the investors’ growing confidence on the Group’s business models”.
He stressed that the success of the Group will eventually continue as long as Ezdan Holding Group is headed by wise and young leadership that has proven great potentials in business management and the capacity to move forward to a prosperous future.
The Group CEO said that Ezdan Holding Group has always adopted an open policy to the opportunities available in a variety of sectors. Despite the ‘economic situation’ in the region and the global market declines, we are confident that our strategic investments will bring values to the table, he said.
Arabian Business Qatar magazine noted that Ezdan Holding Group has acquired a leading position in the classification list of the 30 most prominent companies based on market value, prepared by the magazine. Earlier this year, the Group won the Forbes’ award for the “best Qatari company in investment diversification”.
