Doha: The sixth edition of Education City Speaker Series will host a lecture on the urgency for tackling climate crisis tomorrow at the Qatar National Library.
Being held in collaboration with The Arab Youth Climate Movement Qatar, Ovais Sarmad, Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will deliver a lecture titled 'Why are we waiting? The urgency for tackling the climate crisis'.
To be held from 12:30 pm, the one-hour lecture will also include suggestions by the speaker on what young people can do to keep up the momentum and then followed with an open Q&A.
