Doha: A webinar on ‘Tricks & Tips for IIT/JEE & NEET Exams by Anand Kumar’ was organised by Aligarh Muslim University Alumni Association Qatar (AMUAAQ) an associate organization (AO) of Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) under the aegis of the Embassy of India recently.

Almost 850 people attended the online webinar (Via Zoom and Facebook live stream). The chief guest and speaker of this webinar was Anand Kumar, Founder of Super-30. Dr. Ashna Nusrat moderated the event. The guest of honour and speaker Obaidur Rahman and guest of honour Sujeet Kumar, Additional Commissioner, Delhi Income Tax attended the webinar.

Anand Kumar said that the examination date of IIT/JEE and NEET exam should not be changed as the government has already prepared to conduct it by following the precautionary measures of COVID-19 and ministry of education has already made the proper arrangement at the Centre.

He has also mentioned that these examinations were previously postponed two-three times that is why it is necessary to save the academic session for the prepared aspirants.

Anand Kumar also welcomed the New Education Policy 2020. “The medium of instruction in the home/local language will help the students to understand the basics deeply to make the foundation strong.

The standard of the questions should be based on class 11 and 12 instead of Olympiad level. It will help poor students to crack this exam by doing self-stud,” said Kumar.

Jawed Ahmad, the President of the AMU Alumni Association Qatar  welcomed the guests, media personnel, community leaders, and online audience, and spoke briefly about the efforts to support the community in this pandemic of COVID-19. He thanked his managing committee & well-wisher Shahabuddin Ahmad for bringing this webinar for the Indian community. He informed that parents & students will get the confidence and benefit from the webinar.

Sujeet Kumar  said that he felt great to be a part of this important webinar and appreciated AMU alumni team for organising it. He said that it’s often noticed that many students do not have proper sleep before appearing for the examination, which makes the mind very slow and that’s why sound sleep is very important the night before any examination.

Obaidur Rahman advised students to utilise the remaining time to do mock tests and online practice. He also advised them to take the examination without fear to keep the morale and confidence high. He recommended the students to do the examination with accuracy and attempt the sure shot questions first then try the difficult part and minimise the wrong answer as the negative marking will impact the overall score.

Shahabuddin Ahmad (Chairman, Bazm e Sadaf) appreciated the AMU Alumni Association Qatar for their valuable contribution towards Indian community.
