An employee of Barwa Real Estate Group donating blood under a blood donation campaign conducted in Barwa headquarters in Al Sadd.
Doha: Barwa Real Estate Group in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) Blood Donor Centre organised a blood donation campaign in Barwa headquarters in Al Sadd on September 8, 2020, where the HMC allocated a fully equipped mobile blood donation unit with a team of medical professionals.
The organisation of this campaign comes as part of the social responsibility program at Barwa Real Estate Group, which is considered a major part of the Group’s activities.
In addition to increasing the awareness of employees and neighbouring companies of the importance of this humanitarian work.
Abdullah Jobara Al Rumaihi, Acting CEO of Barwa Real Estate Group, emphasised the importance of this initiative and its relationship with the group’s values.
“The blood donation campaign held by Barwa Group stems from our commitment to our role towards society and our strong belief in our role in supporting HMC Blood Donor Centre and other health institutions. Contributing to the Qatari society is a fundamental pillar that we are working to achieve,” said Al Rumaihi.
The campaign received a remarkable response from Barwa employees and neighboring companies, who were keen to participate in this humanitarian initiative, which contributes to providing the blood bank with the necessary resources and saving the lives of other individuals.
