Athens: Three people died when a tourist bus crashed with a car near Kilkis in northern Greece on Sunday, Greek police said.
The bus had Serbian license plates and 23 of the more than 80 passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The car had Greek license plates.
Eighteen firefighters and six rescue vehicles were deployed to the scene of the accident.
Greece is among the EU countries with the highest number of road accidents each year, with 58 deaths per million people in 2022, according to European Commission figures.
