DOHA: Qatar’s gymnastics team kept their impressive performance at the Arab Gymnastics Championship 2016 in Tunisia, where Ahmed Al Dayyani clinched a new silver medal in All-round competitions on Saturday.
Earlier, Qatar’s gymnast Duha Al Habashi had claimed four medals in Thursday’s competitions.
Al Habashi won two gold medals in both All-round competitions and Uneven Bars along with silver medal in Vault Table and bronze medal in the floor exercises.
On Saturday, Ahmed Nabeel brought glory for Qatar when he clinched the silver medal in All-Round Competition on Friday.
The Qatar Gymnastics Federation chief, Ali Al Hitmi, has appreciated the team performance and lauded the outstanding results that the Qatar gymnasts have achieved so far in the event.
